Web Site Update - December 2007

I'm updating the web site for three good reasons:

1. There's really good news - generous donors are giving money to museums to upgrade their web sites and add more images and great features. Hurray!

2. But that leads to the bad news - when museums upgrade, their site structure changes and all previously imbedded links break. Boo!

3. After four years, I've learned more about web page design. I hope you enjoy the larger images.

So if you've used the site before, I'm sorry but the links to individual images in the presentations are gone. I just can't keep up with the changes that cause hundreds of broken links in the presentations. Now the source for every image is noted on the page and that source is on the site under "Web Sites for Research and Assignments." You can still see a larger version of the image and the curator's notes, but it's now a few clicks away. Just open a new window while you explore.

The updates for the semester one PowerPoint Presentations are complete. The semester two PowerPoint Presenations are now larger and easier to read. I'll keep working on identifying the source of the images. Thanks for your patience.

I'll keep all the museum links up to date on the site's front page. I hope you enjoy using Discover Art. You can email your comments to me at: helen@helenrindsberg.com.
